Dumas and I are quite pleased with how these photos turned out.
He turned to me at a party and said "Jenny, I think you should shoot me." This was a shocking proposition. I questioned him. He said, "Shoot me. Take my picture. I look ballin' tonight." So off we went. Dumas and I will be street style partners. A proper introduction is in order!
I hope to decorate my living room with these images blown up and framed.
Hello!
I'm back in Montreal for good (thank god!)
I'm in a cafe and their playing Nico from the Velvet Underground which is making me really happy. I've had a very full few days - reuniting with my roommate and friends, decorating the apartment, taking street style pics, and discovering a new apreciation for flowers and plants. yay!
Unfortunatly, I left the chord to my camera at home, so i cant upload any of my photos. I plan to pick one up in the next few days. Until then, I will leave you with this:
Ms. Teen USA was asked why 20% of Americans can't locate the United States on a map. This was her brilliant answer.
A very hip lady spotted on Queen and Bathurst
My dear friend Neil at Bay and Dundas
Mia spotted in the VIP section of Tattoo
Justin spotted outside Tattoo, on Queen. (Can anyone tell me the name of his band?)
Rachel spotted outside the downtown bus terminal.

It was so lovely to spend time with Brendan in his home. I love Peterborough and all of the people I have met there. I love the city, but I know I will end up in the country. I feel most at home when I am looking out onto the water and my dream is to move to British Columbia one day.
Blizzarts on Tuesday night was so chill. We celebrated Christina's 20th birthday, and in true fashion, it was a fabulous night. \
I spent a week in Montreal to decorate my room.
When I left, I had a warm, fuzzy "Yes! I finally accomplished something!" feeling in my heart. This summer I've been a little, uh, unproductive. There is still work to be done, but I'm happy with the progress.
I want it to resemble an what I imagine an old fancy hotel to look like. And I'm doing it on the cheap. 50 dollars for everything: wallpaper, curtains, shelving, lighting, picture frames etc...
Like this:
So heres what I've got so far:
Materials used:
(Two fabrics for the curtains - creamy white silk with matching lace.)
Im sitting in an internet cafe in Montreal. Today I went out for breakfast with Brendan and his family and then I spent the entire day being obsessive compulsive about the furniture arrangement in my room.
I probably wont be blogging until I get back to Toronto. But there will be pictures and clothes to post about when I return. xoxox.
update August 12, 2008
I'm back in Toronto now. I came home from Peterborough on the 4th and left for Ohio on a family vacation 2 days later. I'm back in the T dot now, and am finally ready to pay some attention to the poor neglected blog. Get ready for a slew of updates!
On May 2nd, my boyfriend left Montreal, to go tree planting in Northern Ontario for 2 months. We wrote to each other, spoke on the phone once a week, and I missed him like crazy. But he came home and visited me for five days in Toronto and it was so amazing. I feel too full to discuss right now - ill come back to this later!
