Citizen Vintage

Sunday, January 23, 2011

Hey! There's a feature of me up on Crimson Rosella, so welcome all of Kirstins readers!

I am so excited to present to you Citizen Vintage! Brooke, Becky and Lara are opening a vintage shop in Montreal and they asked me model some of their spring collection - you can check out their pretty tumblr for a bunch of pictures from the shoot. I studied theater in university, and i've always thought of it as the most collaborative art one can practice. But when I was in their new showroom, I realized fashion is maybe even more so. And being in the hands of such capable, talented women, I felt I was in the midst of a total dream team.

If you're in Montreal their first sale is happening February 10th - 16th. I am going on the first day, theres a little white knit crop top I'm dying to call mine!

Deets: "Our studio is located at 5752 St. Laurent and will be open to the public from 10am - 7pm each day during the event. Remember, we’re only open for a week at a time, so this is your chance to pop in and see what we’ve been up to."

You have such great Bone Structcha! I love that purple top especially :) Fashion really is one of the most expressive things a person can partake in. It always amazed me when I did theatre just how much the costume helped. It made the transformation complete in some way.

Oh I remember your face from Izzys blog! Wonderful shots both here and there, I modeled once before for my friends fashion feature in our student newspaper... lol. But you look like a natural!

I love these! Posts like this always make me yearn for a film camera and then I check my bank account and it doesn't make me happy!

That cat tapestry print is awesome, I've seen it on bags and stuff too!
