I’m never that intense about sticking to my resolutions but I’ve always used the turning of a new year to reflect on the last twelve months and start envisioning and dreaming for the coming dozen. This year I'm thinking vintage and bringing more of it into my life. Cause with every little bit I collect, I find a little more of myself (d’aaaw) and I hope you’ll slowly but surely start to see this evolution on my blog too. If I was going to make a legit resolution out of this, it would be a challenge to myself – only buy vintage for the next year.

How was your new years eve btw? Equipped with a bottle of champagne and a fancy hat on my hairs, I took to the streets of Toronto with my closest friends from grade 12, who I've been lucky to spend every new years with since. These pictures were taken in a cafe, which we had full reign of for the night (belongs to a friends mom) then off to a bar in Kensington Market (where I got my little black dress) and later, a party!

You look great in red! And I love the hat thingy too!

I'm thinking I also want to be much more vintage this year (I really value my vintage dresses so much). But then I got money for Christmas, and I kind of want to spend it on expensive non-vintage things I'd never get otherwise, and I can usually afford the odd vintage piece anyway and yeah... lame but yeah!

& I'm very envious of your hair, it's gorgeous. Is that your natural colour?

i keep telling myself that i would save so much if i'd just go out and thrift all that vintage already! and if i was guaranteed to look like you in that dress and had, i'd be all the more sold! ;)

here's to hoping you have the bestest of the new year ALL year!

Vintage really warms my heart and soul! It seems silly, but it's true. When I come across something great it just fills me with joy :)

You look beautiful in this dress! Hope that your new year is off to a good start.

That hat is incredible!

I'm definitely aiming to fill up my wardrobe with more vintage this year! A friend recently asked me what my absolute favorite items in my closet were, and I realized absolutely all of them were things I bought secondhand. They're just so much more special to me!

Oh man, that dress with your hair is heavenly. I so envy that hair colour, I wish I could pull it off but for now I think I'll stick to admiring it from afar on babes like yourself.

I did the same resolution a few years back, which is why I started a blog. I committed to only wearing vintage and thrifted for a year, including shoes, gifts, furniture, etc. Funny, all this time later and I basically still do :) Good luck! xo
