Helen from Bits and Bobs sweetly tagged me to share seven things about myself that you may not already know. So here goes!
1. my first kiss happened in las vegas, of all places! I was sixteen, on a bus teen tour across the states and wonderwall was playing in the background. our teeth clanked relentlessly!
2. i’m graduating university in may with a minor is gender studies and a major in creative writing.
3. career ambition: to take Jeanne Bekers job from under her and be a writer/blogger till the end of my days!
4. fond childhood memory: my parents wouldn't buy me an easy bake oven when I was little. one morning, after desperately crying and begging for one, my dad decided to take me out for a professional bread maker instead.
5. some simple goals for the next year are to: bring that bread maker out of the garage and use it (!) get a video camera, learn to shoot manual, apply for an internship at WORN, learn the Harmonica and continue building up my blog!
6. at least once a week, i have dreams that I'm buffy and have to save the world. its fucked up!
7. i'm beginning to realize that i love vintage clothing possibly more than anything in the world.

You're the best, Jenny, seriously!
You seriously have that classy vintage look that I envy so much. The facts about you are so interesting that you cracked me up especially the part about your buffy dreams! Heheh!
Have a tremendous weekend! (:

Aw thanks so much for doing this :) It was great - I loved hearing more about you. And your degree sounds super interesting - those are topics that I would really enjoy studying! I hope you also achieve all the things on your to do list :) x
I love your blog. :) Would you mind recommending some good blogs to me that are related to style and/or feminism? I'm aware of Tavi, of course, but I'd love to discover more. Thanks. :)
What a fun post. I always love reading about these fun facts about other bloggers.

Hahaha, this post made me laugh :) I love all of your answers and completely relate to the whole Easy Bake oven thing! And to this day I still want one! And vintage clothing is better than pretty much everything. . . except for cupcakes :)
hearts and hugs,
Nina
this makes me nostalgic for those way back when email/livejournal surveys that were hundreds of questions long.
haha! i used to read those email/live hournal suyrveys of my friends diligently!! i never wrote one but would be so curious to read what i'd say if i did!
I love your easybake oven story! That is empowerment right there :)
Vintage clothing is so important to me. I used to be ashamed of that, but now I just tell myself that it's like any other hobby. Just cooler. Hehe.

We found a bread maker by the side of the road. It said "this works"
with instuctions.
What is it with these bread makers,
that no one wants to deal with them?
So typical of your dad...so funny
